Meet Mrs. Stevens
I am a biology and physics teacher in Beaverton, Oregon, a suburb of Portland. I am excited to be starting my 5th year teaching by opening up the newest high school in the Beaverton School District: Mountainside High School. Opening a new high school is an opportunity to set a brand new school culture. Will students experience hands-on learning? Use the latest technology? Have pride in their school? Many of these questions and more will be determined this year. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to guide students along the journey of learning and then watch them fly. My goal this year is to combine my passion for science with my love for teaching and inspiring young people to explore their world.
