Transmission of Digital Information Lesson Plan
This lesson is designed for a 9th grade physics class as an introductory
lesson for a waves unit. It includes standards, learning objectives, an
overview of academic language, and implementation. This lesson demonstrates the principles of critical thinking and writing as students must write about the advantages and disadvantages of digital transmission of information.

Unit Planning Matrix for Two Week Natural Selection Unit
This unit plan is designed for an 11th grade biology class. It includes a daily learning target, activity, assessment, and accommodation/modification. This unit plan demonstrates the principle of integration, as students are led through a unit on evolution, then perform a lab linking evolution to prior study of genetics.
